Back to BooklaneYOUR INFORMATIONPrivacy overview
How Booklane handles business and service-request information. Updated November 7, 2026.
Information in a service request
The request form collects your name, email, optional phone number, requested service, ZIP code, preferred date, industry-specific job details (such as property or vehicle information), and optional job notes. It also records submission time and your permission for the business to contact you about that request. Avoid including sensitive personal information in job notes.
Who can review a request
Requests are stored in the business workspace and are available to its authenticated workspace owner. The business uses these details to review the requested service and contact the customer. Consent to a service response does not subscribe the customer to marketing.
Account access and storage
Workspace access uses ChatGPT sign-in. Business profiles and submitted requests are stored in a hosted database. Workspace owners can export requests or permanently delete them from the inquiry detail view. Exported files are under the recipient’s control.
Demonstration data
Requests completed in the labeled demonstration are not submitted to the database. Sample businesses and customer records are illustrative.
Changes and deletion
To request correction or deletion of a submitted service request, contact the business that provided the booking link. The workspace owner can delete the request through the inbox.
Subscription information
Stripe processes subscription payments and payment details. Booklane stores Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, payment-access status, and processed webhook event identifiers to manage access and avoid duplicate processing. Card numbers are handled by Stripe and are not stored by Booklane. Payment risk events may place an account on hold for review. For billing questions, contact tradespancreative@gmail.com.
Owner email alerts
When a business owner enables alerts, Booklane records their verified sign-in email and a notification delivery record. If an email provider is connected, a generic new-request notice is sent through Resend with the business name and a sign-in link. Customer contact details and job notes stay in the workspace and are not included in these emails. Provider-accepted status does not confirm inbox delivery. Turning alerts off cancels pending alerts. Notification records linked to a request are deleted when that request is deleted. Simulated tests use the provider’s test inbox, not a real recipient.
Public launch
Booklane is operated by TradeSpan Creative. For privacy questions, contact tradespancreative@gmail.com. Owner email alerts are optional. Service-request contact permission is separate from marketing consent. Booklane does not automatically send marketing messages from the inquiry inbox.
